The big day is dawning fast. 132 anxious wives and husbands will wake up with hopes running high. Winning a major trophy or just being lucky enough to scrap through a lucky draw.
The MBJ Charity Golf has proved once again to be the premier competition in Bukit Jelutong. Hardly 4 weeks into the announcement of the 7th MBJ Charity Golf Classic, we received frantic calls asking for a slot. Yes...by the 4th week we have filled in 120 slot. It was a tough choice to make..maintain at 120 slots or increase it by another 3 flights. After many discussions at MMZ, the matter was brought up to the committee that met on every Thursday evening. A heated argument ensured and in the end, the Chairman had to cast the casting vote..132 players it is!
In a few days, we will be pitting against one another.. in a friendly gentlemen's game of golf. To smoothen the heartaches, we have wonderful goody bags that will definitely pass as a prize. So, if we don't win anything in Glenmarie, the Mrs will be kept smiling. At least that's the intention of our Sam Beloni, who suggested the goodies from China, way before we decided on the competition!
